Hey Friends, as you all know that our body is made up of 5 elements. Same way dance also have 5 elements those are Body,Action, Space, Time and Eneegy. Dating back to the beginning of recorded history dancing has been a vital part of society. Dance was involved in celebrations and preparations for war. Dance was part of rituals and ceremonies of worship. Dance was part of life and we live in a society today that seems to increasingly label dance as a form of entertainment more than a way of life. Perhaps that is part of the reason we have a growing awareness when it comes to depression because fewer people are experiencing the joy of dance.
I would love to share all 5 elements with you all. First is
BODY:
Body is the center of any dance. Every part of Body is important in dance. Your expressions and your body posture must complement each other.
ACTION:
Action refers to movements. It could be neck or a hand, as elaborate as jumping, tumbling and even running around the stage. Balance between action and pause is very important.
SPACE:
Space is also an important element of dance. If the place is good it affects the viewers vision. People check the place first where they are going to be trained. Level is very important for movement. Even while dancing on stage you have to take care of Space management of stage.
TIME:
While dancing you have to be particular about timings. Choreographer has to decide that movements will be quicker or slow. The speed of rhythmic pattern is called tempo. The rhythm and repetition patterns of dance are called time.
ENERGY:
As we know about all elements of dance, energy is also a part of dance. Energy should be always high.
